About Us

Distributing food to poor families is one of the most direct and powerful ways to make a difference in people’s lives. Food is a basic human need, yet many families struggle to put meals on the table. Hunger affects not only physical health, but also mental well-being, education, and the ability to work and care for loved ones.

By helping to provide food, we are not just meeting an immediate need — we are offering relief, dignity, and hope. For parents, it means one less worry as they try to support their children. For children, it means better focus in school and a stronger foundation for healthy growth.

We believe that no one should have to choose between paying bills and feeding their family. Distributing food is our way of standing with those in need and showing that someone cares. It’s about building a stronger, more compassionate community — one meal at a time.

Helping women and children in poverty is deeply important to us because they often face the harshest realities with the fewest resources. Many women carry the weight of providing for their families while battling limited access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. Children, in turn, suffer from the lasting impact of poverty — from poor nutrition and unstable housing to limited chances for a better future.

By supporting women and children, we don’t just meet urgent needs — we invest in long-term change. Empowered women uplift families, and when children are given the tools to thrive,

Quarterly Newsletter

Helping Women and Children in Poverty (HWCIP.ORG)

During the second quarter of 2026 (April–June), Helping Women and Children in Poverty (HWCIP) continued its commitment to supporting deserving women and families facing poverty and food insecurity.

As part of our Mother’s Day outreach, HWCIP distributed bags of flour to deserving women and families in the community. This initiative was more than a food distribution—it was an opportunity to recognize mothers and women who work hard to care for their families despite difficult circumstances.

The food assistance provided essential support to households while reminding these women that they are valued, respected, and not forgotten. HWCIP was honored to celebrate Mother’s Day by turning compassion into practical assistance for families in need.

During the quarter, a laptop was donated to the HWCIP team to support our organization’s work. This valuable contribution will help strengthen our communication, record keeping, outreach, documentation, and coordination of future humanitarian activities.

The donated laptop represents an important investment in HWCIP’s ability to serve communities more effectively and responsibly.

The second quarter reflects HWCIP’s ongoing mission to help women and children living in poverty and provide practical support to families facing hardship. Through food assistance, community outreach, and support for our organization’s operations, we continue working toward a future where vulnerable families have greater hope and opportunity.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who supports HWCIP through donations, volunteer work, prayers, and encouragement. Every contribution helps us reach more people and make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Together, we can continue empowering today, transforming tomorrow, and working toward a world where women and children can live with dignity, hope, and opportunity.
